I recently purchased a Range Rover Evoque from David Brown Cars. From my initial contact, where I sent photos of my Land Rover I wanted to part exchange, through to the delivery of my new vehicle at my home address the whole experience was fantastic. Robert responded to my initial email contact quickly and promptly and we agreed an initial price for the part exchange over the phone. I arranged a test drive on the way back from a half term holiday trip with my 7 year old son. On arrival, Robert was dealing with another customer, but his partner David made my son tea and chocolate biscuits whilst we we discussed the details of purchase. I initially wanted to take the car that day to drive back to London, but they insisted that they wanted to give the car a full check, service and MOT. After the initial disappointment I explained I had plans on the Saturday and would need the car early. Robert said, not a problem and would get one of his employees to deliver the Evoque to Dulwich. As good as his word, his very polite employee turned up at my home address at 8.30. The car was pristine with all the updated paper work (MOT, Service Details, Manuals etc). Additionally, I must say apart from being exceptionally polite and amiable Robert never put me under any sort of pressure at any stage of the purchase / negotiation even when I suggested about buying an extended warranty. As it came with 6 months, I was told to not rush into it, have a think and if I wanted I could do this at a later date. I had ad a drive to Cambridge yesterday and must say the car is great. Cannot fault the service and professionalism of these guys and would recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing a vehicle from David Brown Cars.

We do not live in the area but were in London for the weekend but desperately needed a car for my wife to drive the kids to school in September, and this purchase was made so easy to us, in spite of the day of the week and the little time available, as Robert and David made sure we had all the information available in a clear and concise fashion. But the real proof of good service took place right after the purchase: once we had left the premises after having already paid for the car, our windscreen was chipped by a small flying stone.

We went back to ask for advice and since it could not be repaired or replaced on that day and we had a trip ahead of us, Robert offered to pay for our insurance excess, which he later did in due time, once we got the windscreen replaced. "I recently purchased a used Saab 93 Convertible from David Brown Cars. I had been looking for some time but was very wary of buying a used car from a garage because there are so many horror stories. I immediately shared this concern with Robert Brown when we first met. He quickly put me as ease and which gave me the confidence to look further at the cars they had for sale. The have a very relaxed environment, with no pressure allowing me look around the cars at my leisure and even taking a test drive on my own which allowed me to really feel the car and become more relaxed. As a result I liked the car and we agreed on a price. There were a couple of minor things which I asked them to do, hey even made up new plates for my cherished number (I didn't even have to ask). I collected the car a week later and it was gleaming. I took the car home, but there was sudden death in the family so I need to fly back to Northern Ireland the next day. This is where the service for me really stood out -- upon my return I notice there was a leak and water was getting in. When I contact Robert of David Brown cars, he was very professional and offered several suggestions to get the car looked at (as I live a long way from their garage). My preference was to take the car back to where I bought it. This was quickly arranged and within the week they had located and fixed the leak. Next I had an issue with wheel balance so I started to investigate this myself with a local garage and found that one of the front tyres was a little out of shape. Again I contact Robert and they agreed to pay 50% to the tyre, by this time I had nearly covered 600 miles and a month had past. These are the reasons I would use again and recommend David Brown cars to anyone. Not only is the sales activity supportive and without pressure, but when I had an issue they listened to my concerns and were very fair in their response. Many thanks Robert, will see you again when I am looking for my next car.
